We have what it takes to make your hardwood floors look like new! Most refinishing projects are completed in a few days, and we work around your schedule and needs so that the job is completed in a top quality, efficient manner. At the bottom of this page are pictures of hardwood floors that we have refinished.
We first start out by removing all top finish coats and any stains from your floor. We then thoroughly sand the floor with a drum sander using fairly coarse paper, and then use finer sanding paper in gradual steps.
The floor is either stained or sealed next, in a color of your choice. We can use a natural sealer (leaving the floor in its natural color), or use a stain color of the following: golden brown, spice brown, sedona red, antique brown, coffee brown, ebony, rosewood, royal mahogany, medium brown, or chestnut. If none of those colors suit your tastes, we can custom mix colors to find the right color for your floor.
The floor is then finished with 3 top coats of finish. We lightly buff the floor between each finish top coat.
The finish is available in either Water Based or Oil based Polyurethane Finish. Both types of finish are available in Satin (a matte finish), Semi-Gloss, or a High Gloss finish.
